
LEO Pharma elects Henriette Mersebach to the Board of Directors
- Henriette Mersebach will bring deep pharmaceutical R&D and innovation expertise to the Board

Ballerup, Denmark, August 14, 2026 – LEO Pharma today announced that Henriette Mersebach has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors.

Her strong track record from ALK and Novo Nordisk will be highly valuable as LEO Pharma continues to advance its strategy and strengthen its innovation pipeline.”
Henriette Mersebach is an experienced pharmaceutical executive with more than 20 years of expe-rience in global drug development, R&D strategy and enterprise leadership. She most recently served as Executive Vice President, Research & Development at ALK-Abelló A/S, where she was a member of the Executive Leadership Team and led the company’s R&D and innovation strategy.
Prior to ALK, Henriette Mersebach held several senior leadership positions at Novo Nordisk, includ-ing Corporate Project Vice President for Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies and Project Vice Pres-ident in Global Development. Her experience includes global product development, portfolio man-agement, business development and M&A, regulatory strategy, and board-level reporting and gov-ernance. She holds an MD and PhD in Medicine from the University of Copenhagen.
In June 2026, Henriette Mersebach joined the Board of Trustees of the LEO Foundation and will serve as their second board representative on LEO Pharma’s Board of Directors.
