A strong track record of partnerships


Today, more than half of LEO Pharma’s portfolio is developed together with partners. Our current partnerships span across many different areas, from large pharmaceutical companies, to academia and contract research organizations.


In 2025, LEO Pharma entered into a strategic partnership with Gilead Sciences, Inc. to advance LEO Pharma’s investigational small molecule STAT6-program. LEO Pharma retains the rights for the topical program in dermatological disease, whilst Gilead will accelerate the development of the STAT6-program in oral formulation. LEO Pharma retains the option to co-commercialize the oral program for dermatology outside the United States.

In 2025, LEO Pharma and Boehringer Ingelheim formed a partnership granting LEO Pharma exclusive rights to develop and commercialize a treatment for rare dermatological diseases. The partnership will leverage LEO Pharma’s six decades of dermatology expertise and global dermatology platform to broaden access to treatment for patients. Further, the partnership expanded LEO Pharma’s dermatology portfolio into rare diseases reflecting the company’s continued commitment to making a fundamental difference for patients in medical dermatology.

In 2025, LEO Pharma entered a distribution and marketing partnership with Junshi Biosciences to commercialize a treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) in Europe. The addition was a strategically curated expansion of our Critical Care portfolio, complementing our existing treatments for cancer-associated thrombosis and other specialty patient needs.

In 2026, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Replay, a gene therapy company focused on developing transformative treatments for rare genetic dermatological conditions. The acquisition adds deep expertise and a next-generation gene therapy platform to LEO Pharma’s pipeline through Replay’s highpayload herpes simplex virus (HSV) delivery vector designed for topical delivery.
