What’s now and what’s next in medical dermatology?

From new data to emerging science in rare inflammatory skin diseases – LEO Pharma’s activities at
EADV 2026 in Vienna, the annual meeting of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, cover expert-led sessions, clinical cases, and real-world evidence designed to strengthen practice and advance outcomes for patients.

At EADV 2026, LEO Pharma explores what looking beyond the skin means: Through important new data  and patient cases, through the eyes of the world’s leading experts in medical dermatology, and even
through the lens of a camera, LEO Pharma is inviting HCPs to join us, as we translate innovations that run deep and solutions that go further into bringing real impact to real lives.

Read more below about the events you can attend and the activities at our booth that you must not miss
to help you find the right treatment for the right patient at the right time.

Chronic Hand Eczema Satellite Symposium
2 October | 13:00–14:00 | SAT 2.06, Level 2, Hall B

The hands we see, the lives they impact – Advancing care in Chronic Hand Eczema

Your patients’ hands tell one story. Their lives tell another. Chronic Hand Eczema is more than what presents in clinic. The burden runs deeper, the consequences reach further, and the full picture is rarely seen. Until now.

Our international faculty will challenge the way you think about Chronic Hand Eczema (CHE) –  from the reality of living with it, brought to life through real, authentic patient video footage, to the question every clinician should be asking: “What does redefining CHE management look like?”

Join the CHE satellite lunch symposium as we explore the evidence and find out.

All activities at EADV are intended for healthcare professionals only. This event is organized and funded by LEO Pharma and LEO Pharma products will be discussed.

PG Industry Hub

1 October | 15:15–16:00 | Hub 2

Going beyond ulcers: A deeper look at
Pyoderma Gangrenosum

Pyoderma Gangrenosum remains difficult to diagnose and manage. Join experts as they look beyond the ulcer to discuss emerging insights into IL-36 signalling and disease pathogenesis –  advancing understanding where clinical need is greatest.

Hear from Prof. Alex Ortega-Loayza (US), Prof. Arash Mostaghimi (US), and Prof. Jacek Szepietowski (Poland) as they explore the PG patient journey – from early recognition and diagnosis, current and future management approaches, to considering “what do we do next once the ulcers have healed?”

GPP Industry Hub

2 October | 14:15–15:00 | Hub 2

Looking beyond the skin: practical
insights and clinical experience in
Generalized Pustular Psoriasis Care

Go beyond the visible signs of GPP with expert discussion on disease burden, IL-36 biology, and
evolving approaches to patient management – practical insights to inform confident clinical
decisions.

Join Prof. Constanze Jonak (Austria), Prof. Stan Tolkachjov (US), and Dr María Asunción
Ballester-Martínez (Spain) as they examine the
full burden of this distinct disease, share practical insights for disease recognition and evolving patient management, and discuss scenario-based approaches to overcoming challenges in clinical practice.

Clinical photography training

30 September – 3 October | LEO Pharma Booth

What do you see, when you look beyond?
Your patients are improving. But can your images prove it?

Did you know that 8 out of 10 dermatologists have no formal training in clinical photography? And yet 89% of dermatologists take clinical photos on a weekly basis – with research showing that 1 in 3 referring doctors rating their clinical images as high quality – but 0% of receiving dermatologists agreeing.1

A few simple techniques can change that. At the LEO Pharma booth, we are conducting clinical photography training sessions to elevate your clinical photography skills on your smartphone with an expert photographer in only 15 minutes.

Please note all activities at EADV are intended for healthcare professionals only. The EADV Exhibition area is restricted to HCPs only.

Highlights from last year’s EADV

In 2025, 250 LEO Pharma colleagues came together in Paris for the annual EADV meeting.

We presented 5 late-breakers and 24 abstracts – the biggest scientific congress contribution in LEO Pharma’s history!

We’re excited to be at EADV again this year, this time in Vienna!
